Space Oddity Con
On 18 and 19 July, Space Oddity Con returns for its fourth edition at Junta de Freguesia de Valongo.
Across two days, we will be playing board games inspired by space, science fiction, the exploration of new worlds and journeys across the galaxy. There will be games for different interests and experience levels, from accessible titles to more demanding strategic challenges.
Bring your own games or join one of the available tables. You do not need to know anyone, arrive with a group or already know how to play. We can help you find a table and explain the rules.
The event will focus on board games, but anyone who would like to organise or bring space-themed RPGs or TCGs is also welcome.

Our room at the Junta de Freguesia de Valongo is reached by a flight of stairs, so the venue isn't wheelchair accessible. We're sorry — the building isn't ours to change. If we can help on the night, just ask.

A estação espacial está condenada. A reentrada na atmosfera da Terra é inevitável, a destruição aproxima-se, e algures no meio do caos há humanos, robôs e outras entidades com objectivos próprios, alianças duvidosas e segredos por revelar.
Em Stationfall, cada jogador faz parte de uma conspiração secreta e tenta manipular os acontecimentos a seu favor. O problema é que ninguém sabe exactamente quem está a controlar quem, quais são as verdadeiras intenções dos outros jogadores, ou quando uma aparente colaboração se vai transformar numa traição bem calculada.
É um jogo caótico, táctico e cheio de possibilidades emergentes, onde dedução, oportunismo e criatividade são tão importantes como planear bem. Há sempre várias formas de resolver um problema — mas a estação muda depressa, os planos raramente sobrevivem intactos, e cada personagem pode tornar-se uma peça decisiva no momento certo.
Mesa recomendada para quem gosta de jogos com muita interacção, identidades escondidas, humor negro espacial e situações absurdas que só fazem sentido depois de tudo correr mal.
